~ A Message From Us ~

Fall 2020

Dear Readers,

Welcome back to KidsRead2Kids! Thank you for supporting us along our journey. From the beginning, our goal has been to help as many people as possible. So far, we’ve recorded 17 classic novels read by our team of high school volunteers; we’ve filmed a range of decodable chapter books for early learners; and recently, we published our first lesson plan to beloved novel, Peter Pan.

We film all of our books chapter by chapter so that anyone can listen and learn at their own pace. Our resources have reached struggling readers, parents and teachers all over the world. But we are far from done.

Our mission is to bring back the joy and confidence to the struggling reader. We’ve strived to accomplish that goal with our filmed novels and upcoming series of lesson plans – but we have more stories to share.

In our family, we are very open about our learning differences. We talk openly about everything from our biggest struggles to our greatest strengths.

We know that living with a learning difference is hard. Just getting through the school day can seem impossible. But as hard as it is for us to learn, it is equally hard on our parents and teachers.

When a child is struggling in school, there are many things for parents to consider. It’s important to find the right programs, choose the right teachers, and access the right resources. The process can be overwhelming.

So, to anyone having a difficult time: we’ve been there, too.

In the past, many families have to come to us for advice. Now, we want to share our stories with you. In our new Magazine, we will give our best tips for living a healthy, happy and confident life – in and out of school.

We will share recipes, ideas and fun stories – all from things we’ve experienced ourselves.

Thank you again for joining us on our journey. We are so excited to take this next step with you.

With support and love,

Jacob, Alana, Reuben, Julia, Benjamin and Carol
