In Meet the Reader (Kid Edition), you’ll meet readers from around the world! Next up is Amaya from London.
Hi, Amaya! Thanks so much for joining us on Meet the Reader (Kid Edition!).
1. Tell us about yourself!
Hi Guys, I’m Amaya! I am a 6-year-old, living in London, England.
2. What are your favorite books and why?
I love Matilda by Roald Dahl because the story takes you through so many different emotions but has a lovely ending.
I also really enjoy reading The Twelve Dancing Princesses by Miles Kelly. I love the illustrations, the storyline, and all things Princess!
3. What do you love about reading?
I learn a lot from reading and it’s really fun because there are so many books that you can choose from.
4. Where is your favorite reading spot and why?
My favourite reading spot is in my bed, wrapped up in my blanket, with my reading light on because it’s nice and cozy and my sister cannot distract me. :)
5. What were your biggest struggles in school, and how did you overcome them?
My biggest struggles were when I first started school as I was quite shy and had a lot of new people to meet. I overcame this by speaking to people and making friends.
6. Here at KidsRead2Kids, we believe our biggest struggles can also be our greatest strengths (or our real life superpower!). What is YOUR superpower?
Being a Super Sister!
7. If you could change anything about the world, what would you change? Why?
For people to care a bit more about the environment, not to throw rubbish on the floor or waste water.
8. What advice would you give to a kid struggling to read?
If you just keep practicing, you will get there soon!

Favorite writing style (Action, Young Adult, Sci-Fi, Thrillers Comic Books, etc.): I mostly like funny books but I also like books that teach me new things.
Hobbies: Gymnastics, gaming and playing with my sister.
